Know which addresses are real
before you hit send.
Email verification checks whether an address exists and can receive mail, without sending anything to it. Remove the ones that would bounce, and every campaign reaches more real people, protects your domain and costs less.
Or check one address now, free:
10 free checks an hour. No signup, no card.
Like checking a postal address before you post the letter.
You give us a list. For each address we check the spelling, the domain, the mail server and, finally, whether that exact mailbox exists. You get one clear answer per address, with a reason written in plain language.
- Nothing is ever sent to the people on your list
- Works on one address or a whole spreadsheet
- Every result says why, not just a code
- Validpriya.sharma@acme.co.inThe mailbox exists and accepts mail.
- Invalidrahul@gmial.comTypo in the domain. Did you mean gmail.com?
- Invalidold.employee@northwind.comThe mail server says this mailbox does not exist.
- Riskyinfo@sunrise-traders.inShared inbox (info@): read by several people, often ignored.
- Invalidab12x@mailinator.comDisposable inbox that deletes itself in hours.
- Riskysales@bigcorp.exampleThe domain accepts every address, so this one cannot be confirmed.
- Validmeera.k@outlook.comThe mailbox exists and accepts mail.
- Unknownceo@slowserver.exampleThe server did not answer in time. Not charged; try again later.
Every list decays, even one you collected honestly.
Nobody has to do anything wrong. Addresses simply stop working over time, and new ones arrive with mistakes in them.
People change jobs
A work address stops existing the day someone leaves. Business lists go stale fastest.
Inboxes get abandoned
Old personal accounts are closed or deleted after years of not being used.
Typos at signup
gmial.com, yaho.com, a missing letter. The person never gets your welcome email and you never know why.
Fake and throwaway addresses
Some people sign up with a temporary inbox to grab a freebie. It deletes itself within hours.
A bounce isn't just one lost email.
Every email that bounces tells Gmail, Outlook and your sending service something about you. Send to enough bad addresses and it affects all of your email, not just those.
Your good emails land in spam
Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo watch how many of your emails bounce. Too many, and they start filtering everything you send, including to your best customers.
Your sending account can be paused
Sending services review or suspend accounts whose bounce rate climbs past a few percent. A single dirty import can stop all your email.
You pay to email nobody
Email platforms charge per contact or per email. Dead addresses cost the same as real ones and never buy anything.
Your numbers lie
Open and click rates are diluted by addresses that never existed, so you can not tell which campaigns are really working.
Clean lists pay for themselves.
More emails reach the inbox
Fewer bounces keeps your sender reputation clean, so providers trust your mail and deliver it.
Protect your domain
Your domain's reputation takes months to build and one bad send to damage. Verification is the cheapest insurance you can buy.
Spend only on real people
Remove dead addresses before you pay to store and email them.
Metrics you can trust
Open, click and reply rates measured against real inboxes, so decisions are based on what actually happened.
Cleaner sales data
Your team stops chasing leads that were never reachable, and your CRM reflects who's actually out there.
Stop bad signups at the door
Check addresses as people type them, catch the typo while they are still on the page, and block throwaway inboxes.
Five questions, cheapest first.
Each step can settle an address on its own, so we only contact a mail server when the quicker checks can't answer. That keeps checks fast, and means we only ask a server when we really need to.
At no point is an email sent. The person on your list never knows they were checked.
- 01
Is it written correctly?
Checks the format and spots common typos like gmial.com, with a suggested correction.
- 02
Is it a throwaway or shared inbox?
Matches against lists of disposable providers and role addresses like info@ or support@.
- 03
Can the domain receive email at all?
Looks up the domain and its mail servers. No mail server means nothing can be delivered.
- 04
Have we seen this domain before?
We remember how every mail server behaves, which makes repeat checks faster and more accurate.
- 05
Does the mailbox exist?
We ask the mail server directly whether it would accept mail for this address, then hang up before anything is sent.
You always know what to do with the result.
The mailbox exists and accepts mail.
Send.
Uses one credit
It will bounce: no such mailbox, no mail server, a typo or a throwaway inbox.
Remove it.
Uses one credit
Real but uncertain: shared inboxes, domains that accept any address, full mailboxes.
Your call. Fine for warm contacts, careful with cold ones.
Uses one credit
The mail server didn't give a clear answer this time.
Check again later.
Free — never charged
Anyone who sends email to people they didn't just meet.
Marketers and newsletters
Clean the list before every big campaign and keep deliverability high as it grows.
Sales and outreach teams
Verify prospect lists before cold outreach, where a high bounce rate hurts most.
SaaS and app sign-ups
Use the API at registration so fake and mistyped addresses never get in.
Online stores
Make sure order confirmations, receipts and offers reach real customers.
Agencies
Clean each client's list before you put your sending reputation behind it.
Events and lead forms
Lists collected on paper, at stalls or from forms are full of typos. Fix them before the follow-up.
When to verify
At signup
One API call on your form stops the problem before it starts.
Before a campaign
Especially if the list hasn't been emailed for a few months.
After an import
Event lists, old CRM exports, a list from a partner: check before the first send.
On a schedule
Lists decay quietly. Re-check every few months to stay ahead of it.
Sending with PickusMail? Verification is built in.
Contacts are checked as you import them, and every campaign follows the result: valid addresses are sent to, risky ones only if you choose, and invalid ones never. Contacts still being checked wait instead of going out unverified.

Straight answers.
Does verification send an email to the address?
No. We talk to the recipient's mail server and stop before any message is sent. The person never sees anything.
Is it 100% accurate?
No honest verifier can promise that. Some mail servers accept every address or refuse to say, which is why we have Risky and Unknown instead of guessing. When we say Valid or Invalid, the mail server told us so.
What does it cost when a check fails?
Nothing. Unknown results are never charged, and credit packs never expire.
How long does it take?
A single address takes a few seconds. Lists run in the background with live progress, and you can download the results by verdict when they finish.
What happens to the addresses I upload?
Your uploads and results are kept until the retention window shown on each list, then deleted. Our logs never store the raw address, only a one-way keyed hash.
Can I verify before sending with PickusMail Bulk email?
Yes, it is built in. Contacts are checked as you import them, valid addresses are sent to, risky ones only if you choose, and invalid ones never.
Check your list before your next send.
100 free checks when you sign up, no card needed. After that, packs start at $12 (₹999) for 5,000 checks, and never expire.
